I just bought a master forge H140XL a couple days ago. I’m having an issue with it. It works great but the pellets keep dropping quickly and even when I have it set on eco 1 it still does it for example I have my thermostat set on 60 degrees and my house is 77 degrees and keeps going up I’ve tried everything to stop it from going up. It’s set on p4 and feeds every 3-4 seconds. It’s almost like the p1-p4 doesn’t matter considering it feeds the same rate on all. Any help is appreciated.

Is the stove set to thermostat. Any stove has a start up mode- it ignores all user settings till it has gone through start up.

Yes it’s set on 59. It’s been running for 2 days now. I have it set on p4 right now and the son of a bi+ch keeps dropping a ton of pellets. The same as p1. I don’t even know why it has different settings they are all the same!

I havent ever worked on one or played with its interface, so i know nothing about its settings. Have you read the manual? Called the manufacturer support?

I’ll try to call them tomorrow. They are closed tonight. I’m also having an issue with it going into cleaning mode on startup every time which is a pain in ass. I tried to use the automatic starter but it takes about 10 minutes for it to start burning. So I threw some Luther fluid on it this time but the cleaning mode stops the smoke from going out until it goes into lighting mode. Man I miss the hell out of my 27 year old Breckwell lol
