Couple questions. Took off the secondary manifold supports and lowered the secondary manifold just to check stuff out and clean. The ceramic baffle boards I cleaned and am replacing the blanket which was extremely saturated with ash and appeared to have taken direct flame. Bunch of stove cement falling off the interior walls when I did this.

Do I need to replace these baffle boards? Seems they would allow direct flame to blanket in this state? The two piece doesn’t make sense to me whether warped or not….and it appeared they actually may have been cemented together maybe but I couldn’t tell if it was a chemical reaction from the heat.

Where should I re cement? Any on the manifold or supports? Just the interior corners and cracks ? Can’t really tell where it all fell from when I lowered the manifold….I’m assuming just the cracks I can see in the walls of the box…. Thanks!
