I just ran across the MagnuM Countryside 3502 and was wondering if anyone has had any experience with them? The local dealer I have been talking too is really pushing the Mt Vernon because it can go into my pre-fab fireplace without too much hassle. The Magnum looks very similar in specs, and is about 2k cheaper, is there anything I should know before I contact the dealer? Will it even go into my pre-fab fireplace?

The only ones I have seen has analog controls. No digital board. Just 2 knobs.

I installed a 3500 a couple months back for a buddy. Pretty solid unit. Burns great. Doesn't have the airflow issues that the Baby is known for. IMO.

It can get so much air, you can eject whole pellets from the pot.

Does this model have a digital board or ignitor??
