Looking for some information on how it works (Warnock Hersey Model Empress 700)

Hi,

In the house i bought recently theres a Warnock Hersey Model Empress 700/710/720 probably mid early 80's manufactured in Ontario Canada

Problem is i can't find the instruction manual anywhere

I'm looking for some information on the right wood lever which seems to be connected to a brown air duck

Left black one seems to open/close the damper in the chimney,
Middle one is for the Ash tray under
It is in the middle of the room completely closed from all side
Don't know much about this kind of fireplace, was looking for a way to control airflow

If anyone have an idea it would be much appreciated, thanks !

There is not a lot of information on Empress fireplaces but @chimneychick and @AIMSWEEP might have some thoughts.
