I am new at this and I have read all the post about pricing. Last year I didn't even buy pellets due to price and being unemployed. So I have been looking at the spring pricing. I noticed it has come down from where it was earlier this year. I wish I had a crystal ball. I am trying to figure out is this the time to buy or should I wait?
I priced Hamer's hot ones. I can get them from Primo Pellets here in CT for $245 a ton delivered. Before delivery is $224 a ton.
Just looking for opinions. Is now the time to take the plunge and not look back or will it get even better?
Next question: Do I have them deliver now or hold till AUG.? I know last year a lot of people got burnt from other places. I really hate to fill up my garage (wood shop) and not have any room to work all summer, but I don't want to get screwed either.
My thought is to just go ahead and buy them and have them delivered now. I just hate the idea of not having my space to work in all summer. Although I would have them in my possession and not have to worry about it. Also is this a really good price considering the times?
Thanks for all the input. Like I said just looking for opinions. I am glad to have a site that is dedicated to the pellet industry. I have read lots of great information on here. It's nice to know that there is help when needed. Maybe some day I will be able to contribute back as well.
Thanks,
Tim
