yesterday, received and stacked 2 1/2 tons of Carolina Wood Pellets in my garage. Of course, it was 98 degrees here in Georgia so it was fun. So many millions of pounds of pellets are made here in Georgia because of all the pines and oak but they either all go overseas or up North so our choices are slim. Also, pellet stoves haven't really gotten popular even though the main heat source is either propane or electric, both of which are expensive as hell. I only use the pellet stoves if the temp drops down below 40 where the heat pumps become more costly to run or if I want a little ambiance. Yes, old farts need ambiance too just in case the viagra is needed. Anyway, had to pay $249 a ton and they waved the delivery fee so I didn't have to make two trips.
