Got a used Lennox Hearth woodstove last year. Everything was gooing well until this year. Now it seems to have an air leak and I don't know where it came from.
The fire dance a lot when i put some log and it burn fast even if the air control is completly close

I have change the gasket on the front door, the side door and the ashpan door. Tried the smoke tricks to see if the leak was from there and saw nothing.

I'm thinking about the air control hasket but not sure.

Does anyone have an idea what my problem or what should I try ?

Was the new 12mm door gasket a generic gasket or the OEM factory gasket replacement? Was the side door gasket also replaced? Was the 8mm gasket on the ash pan door replaced?

Was the door gasket a generic gasket or the OEM factory gasket replacement? Is there a gasket on the ash pan door? If there is, was this also replaced?
For the doors it was a generic gasket the compagnie don't do those anymore.

Yes the ashpan door gasket was change

Generic gaskets are often the wrong density and can be leaky. Try to locate the gasket kit for this stove. Here is one supplier for the front and side door kit. They may also sell the 40M0201 ashpan gasket kit.
