I have been trying to clean the stove and took out a plate / baffle from under the top, at the top right - now I have no idea how to get it back - I have tried for hours!
Can anyone help?
In the photo, the plate / baffle I am trying to refit is lying on the top of the stove, behind
the circular opening.

It might fit in the circular opening to the left (not shown). Can you post a picture of that opening?

Hi there, Thanks for replying!

Here is a picture of the top of the stove as it is now, and of the plate / baffle pictured both ways up.

That cleaned up nicely. I was looking at a drawing of the Rosa (similar to the Milly) at woodcookstove.com and I thought it might fit above the firebox but your pics sure make it look like it belongs on top of the rear right compartment to seal the bypass damper. It seems like the raised L on one end would have to go down (pic 2) not up.

Now I see that the stovepipe outlet is in that area. So maybe the L tab could go up and into the collar... Sorry, Im not helping.
If you're still stuck, post some pics of that plate on top of the compartment in various ways.

The Rosa diagram seems to show that right hand compartment without a top and it DOES show something above the firebox.
The drawing is not detailed enough. Try fitting it on the left above the firebox.

Thank-you, you have been very helpful! I thought I took it out from the right hand side, but can see the logic in having it above the firebox.
Very grateful to you!
