I clean my glass each morning. It's nothing more then a slight powder from being dampered down over night. No scrubing - just a dusty glass that comes clean with a paper towel and glass cleaner. Then the glass stays clear all day long. It's not a big deal.

I was using glass cleaner and some of the over spray went on the front of the stove near the fan intake. I wiped it with a paper towel and the paint came right off. It was a lysol brand glass cleaner. I wouldn't think the paint would be that sensitive. What if I used cleaner to wipe down the outside of the stove? Anyone else experience paint coming off that easily?

From now on, I will use a damp sponge and if I need to apply glass cleaner - instead of spraying it on the glass, I will spray it on the papertowel and then wipe to avoid touching any cleaner to painted surfaces.

I guess I can touch it up at the end of the season. I know they sell the matching paint. Disappointed. It's 1 year and 1 month old.
