We just moved into our first house about a month ago and it has a northstar corn stove in the basement. Was wondering what you guys/gals use to clean corn prior to burning it, I was thinking about finding some kind of screening system that would work when i came across this website so thought i would ask and see what you guys might have to say.

I run everything through a 1/2 inch hardware cloth to get any cob or stones that may jamb the auger. Its a simple sluice type. I don't think that stove is fussy about fines like Bixby.
