Hi,

I've narrowed down my gas fireplace selection to either of these two models above, and specs wise they are very similar at 40K btu. With that said, any experience with either model or any input on choosing between the two models would be appreciated. I know both brands are very reputable so I'm sure I'll have a good experience either way, but curious anyway just in case. Lastly, can these gas fireplaces legitimately heat a space up to 2k sf. as stated? I'm new to gas and am having a hard time believing that a gas unit can indeed do this.

Thanks.

Speaking about the i40 Tofino, for that kind of maximum heat output you'll definitely want the SIT Proflame II version of the unit, as it includes the circulating fan.
