On the Jotul Facebook page I saw they had a picture of the C550 V2. Maybe the inserts are starting to come back. It didn’t have any more details on it..
 
That would be welcome news. The Rockland was a popular insert.

I just checked Jotul NA's page and didn't see anything,

I heard a new one C550 coming out in September 2025 with info coming out in June 2025

No article. Just general info from Dealer and communication from someone at company. Have to wait till June for info release. Thats all I know. Inquired about wood burning inserts slightly less than a year ago. Was surprised they only sold outside US.
 
Jotul dropped its popular inserts when the 2020 EPA regs went into effect. Most likely because of concerns about meeting the new requirements. They were popular and made in America so their return will be welcome, especially if they keep the desirable good looks.

The one I saw in the video looked the same as the original from what I could tell. I tried to find the video, but unable to. If I recall it was some sort of show where Jotul had a booth.
