Aloha all-

I'm a noob to this site but love the concept. Just bought a replacement 602 and looking for advice on how to remove the stove from the pallet with the least amount of damage. There is a 2x4 wedged under the front and back feet on both side, which is nailed to the pallet, effectively pinning the stove down to the pallet. Sawzall? Pry bar? Thanks in advance.

Jotul 602 ( to be replace by above)
good old Free Flow (in basement)
15" Echo saw (all the others broke)
Didier (?) splitter
1993 Nissan Frontier
1990 525ti (worse for wear)
no man (but an awesome cockatiel smuggled home with me from Hawaii)

Yeah, whatever it takes. If you use a prybar be sure you only pry against the pallet, not the stove. Are you sure it is nailed down, not screwed? Prybar is very difficult to use on screws but does work good on nails. A lot of times people oversink screws. You may have to scracth some wood fibers out of the way to get the screwdriver blade to engage.
