I have recently succeded in installing a Jotul 450 insert and it's working great. Part of the success was due to the wealth of information available here.

I have a question that I haven't been able to find an answer to here. The Jotul 450 manual indicates that the air inlet collar is 3" but in reality it is alot closer to 2 1/2". Is there an adapter available to convert this inlet to the standard 3"? I'm ready to install a flexible 3" outside air pipe but it won't fit.
