I have a Jutol 118 have used it since the mid 70's, great stove. There is a crack on the outside panel that goes the entire width of the panel. Anyway to repair this? I have replaced the inside baffles. Thanks

You may be able to buy a new panel online but you would have do a rebuild. I don’t know if it could be welded or brazed cast iron is tricky.

Might be best to just bite the bullet for a new stove. Sounds like it served you well for a long time.

Sorry to hear this. Yes, that panel will need to be replaced. What condition are the internal, side burn plates? Usually this is an indication of them failing or missing.

One option would be to get a parts stove with this panel still in good condition. Be sure it is a real Jotul 118 and not a Taiwan knockoff.
