The John Deere lasted about a year at over $400,everytime it was taken in the woods something broke.Last week these rounds about 750 lbs worth did it it,dumping latch gave way, dumping this load on its own and pulling the bolts through the plastic cart body.Replaced it with this sturdily built Polar mesh rated at 1400 lbs, very sturdily build,$470 Home Depot. So much for John Deere an American icon.

That's why I just use a truck. My woods truck cost about what you spent on those two carts. And it has a hydraulic dump bed.

wouldn't work here too dense, too much sand and swampy areas.

I've had that same poly John Deere cart for almost 11 years. No issues (other than the tires go flat every winter) however I haven't used it to haul firewood in a long time. I use a metal Agri-Fab Super ATV 17 cart that has held up well to countless cords of wood (it was purchased at a Polaris dealership so it has their label however it was made by Agri-Fab). Unfortunately they don't make those anymore. A friend bought the same Polar cart you purchased and he loves his. I would like to get a MUTS trailer when it comes time to replace the Agri-Fab but can't justify the price. I'll probably end up with a tandem axle Polar poly cart.
