Is this White Oak?

I found this on the road with a bunch of red oak.. is is white oak ..we don't have alot in my neighborhood

Another tell is the light gray bark. When you see a big one in the woods with bright sun hitting the trunk, you can imagine that maybe that's how it got its name. 😮
 
Photos 2 and 3 look like white oak. Even if you hadn't mentioned it.
 
That is interesting how different that oak looks to the French oak we have here...which is essentially white oak afaiaa...I best do some research
 
hmmmm, some quick googling points me to the species on my property being

Quercus robur

leaves in particular
 
I get very little white oak, mostly all red for me. Looks good, wish i had more white available.
My buddy calls it "The King".

He also burns in a jotul f400.
