That is Mulberry. Black Walnut is much darker in the heartwood, and the bark is different.

Avoid any 'vine' with bare hands is my rule. Really thick hairy roots off the vine are indicative of poison, vs virginia creeper type vines, which have very fine 'hair' roots. Now is the time to cut wood with vines though. Tear that crap off and hack it off the bark. The leaves are the worst for getting the oil on your skin.
