This newbie and lurker (with the help of his jack of all trades dad) finally installed the stove that has been sitting in my
living room for 2 months!

Im so excited, what an easy install.
Summers Heat 2,200 sq ft. by England stove works w/a simpson dura vent kit.
wooooohoooo....bring on the cold!!!!!!!!

Good to hear you did it yourselves. That's a nice stove and now the Heinz ketchup syndrome "anticipation" begins ;)

Post a pic maybe

Congratultions on the new stove ! Coincidentally, i got mine installed myself on the same day.

Yeah, congrats and we love pics!

Will do...also I made my own hearth as well!!

sweet, im at the install stage of my hearth, did all the measurments yesterday, cut the 4x4 sheet into the nice hearth look and now i have to cut the carpet and screw it down, then on to tile!

newbie/first post here...

good going on the install. i just built my hearth pad for the same stove (summers 2200 sq/ft from lowes) this weekend. went with 1/4" plywood, 1/2" durock and 1/4" ceramic tile, 4'x4'. didn't come out too bad, i don't think. now i'm just waiting on the pellet vent before i lug that sucker up from the garage and get her going.
