Currently have a Drolet HT 3000. I am not dissatisfied with the stove but am wanting something better in throw more heat consistently for a longer period of time. Not even sure if that is possible. Open to suggestions. Would like to stick with 6" flue pipe as that is what I have. Also something with low clearance so I can back it up the my hearth wall. Price is not a huge factor but also want to be frugal at the same time.

The HT-3000 is a serious, large heater. How large of an area is it heating? Are there heat loss issues like weak insulation or lots of glass area? Tall ceilings?

Like Begreen said the HT-3000 is one of the biggest out there. It’s also covered in heat shields, do you have the blower kit to blow the heat out into the room?
