My igniter went bad on my Hydroflex 60 after ~15 year of operation in auto mode and thought I'd post about the replacement to help the next guy.
I tested the resistance on the igniter and it showed open circuit. Power was going to the igniter when the boiler was trying to start. I also removed the hose from the end of the igniter and could tell that the pump was working. I put this igniter in. Very simple to change, the igniter is threaded on one end so you just unscrew the old one and screw in the new one
In the future, I think I'll run the boiler in manual mode more, especially in the colder months, so the igniter won't get used as much and hopefully this will be the last one I install.
