I have an ideal steel wood stove started burning in the winter of 2022. Cleaning out the stove noticed I had some bracket support bolts missing on the sides 2 on one and 1 on the other and the rest of them were all loose. Upon further inspection noticed something white through the holes of the secondary, to my surprise it was a gasket that had come off on the inside of the secondary plate. Took off the remaining bolts from the plate and saw that the gaskets were not sealed on the upper side of the secondary's don't know it requires it but my guess is yes. So, needless to say I'm dissapointed really shouldnt have to do all this!

When I got the stove the bottom heat shield was completely off the weld was not good and the center bolt with lock nut was not even tighten all the way down just started it, the one that holds the secondary plate. I dont care if the center bolt was loose but the rest of this crap shouldnt have to happen and i normally dont complain about small stuff but I m just dissapointed! Now if they would only answer the phones!!!!

Called them up they were very helpful, no problems!!! That center bolts is left loose intentionally so it s ok....And the bolts Ill get them at the hardware store, the stove works great, great heat!! And they are sending me some gaskets, TY!!!!!!
