Looks to me to be already cut. Why would you need it if it's already cut. That's like fixing the roof when it's not raining.

I think he is talking about noddling it.

Well... in that case what he really needs is a 37 ton splitter.

Yeah, Go get it.
Tell him you want a 14'' bar?

you must be west coast 12in. bar pushing it......

Nope, you need a 346xp. :-)

I noodled up some of the ash I got this week with the 346 xp. My brother was busy making rounds out of the butt with the 372 xp. It's got an 18" bar and did pretty well for having an outboard clutch.

Now we did finish noodling the trunk with the 372xp after he got done making rounds. I would have just used the splitter but I didn't have a second 4x4 vehicle to pull it. I am no good at backing up the train when I hook it to the back of the pu box trailer.

I don't know what you have for saws, or what is your typical wood you get into, but any 60cc+ saw will do decent at noodling. If you have the $$ then go for it. I haven't been able to justify it to myself yet. The 372 has done anything I have wanted with a 24" bar. If you plan on running a 32"+ bar in hardwood a lot by all means run to your Stihl dealer and get one.

Uh . . .for the record . . .

1) I don't noodle.
2) I don't need no damn hydraulic splitter.
3 I did buy the chains. Which is why I am being chased down the road by logs. I have to justfy the $600 chains. I coulda bought 8 cord of beech for that. But I have pulled just shy of 4 cord of Oak already, so, assuming I don't get myself killed, I'm halfway there.

LOL, LOL, LOL at me buyin a Husq . . .
