i think i got it.
cut the IN water line and the OUT water line on the hot water heater (green pex) put tee's in each cut with valves and thats it .right? see pictures below.
i didn't do the install but i am sure i can bypass the h/e in the plenum.
what do you guys think?
i hate to go with the pex fittings because i would have to buy thre crimper. i was thinking about the SharkBite® Push-Fittings.
