So I got my new mag gage today to play around with on my VistaFlame VF100. I managed to cobble something together using stuff around the house so I could give it a try. I got a tip from this forum to use a basketball needle to stick in the measuring port in the front of the stove--worked like a charm! I set the draft for 0.13 on heat setting 3 of 5. (j-takeman said to use 0.14-0.15 on heat setting 5 for so-so pellets so I figured that meant about 0.13 on 3). Flame height is much taller with proper draft and way more heat is coming from the stove, so that's great! Thanks j!
The only problem I had was that the tubing I was using is not rated for high temps, so once it heated up, the basketball needle slipped out of the tubing.
So who knows where you can buy just a small chunk of tubing that's rated for higher temps?
