Wow i didnt think it would be that much difference. Tried mine out today. Im sold. fooy on a 8lb maul. Id almost pay twice as much . Hurray Fiskars SS. I honestly thought it was kinda a fad or band wagon but what ever im on!

After splitting lots of red oak with a pro splitter then trying the SS, I love the pro even more. It's equal to the SS 95% of the time. The SS is only necessary for really stubborn stuff. The pro is so much lighter you can swing it all day.
