Hello everyone,

We're in the process of moving and of course I wasn't leaving the Blaze King Princess behind. But we have to squeeze it at tighter location. So I decided I'd just swap out the pedestal for the classic base. It just came in today and they're installing a liner along with the stove in 2 days.

Well the move is turning out to be a little more like the movie The Money Pit and since we've been running around like chickens with our heads cut off, I stupidly overlooked that the base appears to be welded on. I thought you could easily swap between the legs, classic base and pedestal. My plan now is to take and angle grinder to the 4 small welds and install the classic base as usual. It looks like it has the proper holes for the bolts. If not I was gonna weld this one on too.

Is there any reason I can't do this or anything I'm over looking? I'm rushing around like crazy, so I wouldn't be surprised if I'm missing something. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Your Princess is a 1006 or older model.

The PE32 has the interchangeable platform.

You'd be best off welding the different base. I'm not certain the 1006 holes you are referencing are designed to support fasteners for a base.
