Anyone out there have a picture or a schematic of how the door glass gasket should be applied on an ECO-ADV-PS35?
The backstory/issue:
A few years ago, I replaced the door and glass gasket on my Heatilator ECO-ADV-PS35 (existing install in the home we purchased). I followed the how-to videos from the replacement gasket supplier, but I think the glass gasket video was not in accord with how the original gasket was applied (shame on me for not taking a picture of how the gasket was before removal). I seem to recall that the gasket may not have been applied around all four sides of the glass, and that maybe it was wrapped around the edge of the glass to cover both faces rather than only on one face (maybe only on two or three of the sides/edges). As it is now, I have it around all four sides, and only on the out face (see first two pics below). The door glass seems to black soot more than it did before the replacement and the door freight-train rumbles more. The door gasket is tight (dollar-bill test = passed) and well adhered all around, so I suspect the glass gasket is the issue. Can anyone share pics or advise where/how the glass gaskets should be installed on this model? The only reference I have is from the manual (Figure 22.1, below), which maybe seems to show that the two sides of the glass are wrapped front and back, but not the top nor the bottom.
