EcoChoice Problem

Hello, I’m having trouble again with my Heatilator Eco-Choice Cab50. This stove has been a constant issue for me over the years. Recently, it stopped working, and the defective thermocouple light came on. I replaced the thermocouple, and while the stove could cycle, it still wouldn’t light. Now, the defective thermocouple light is back on. I’ve checked all the snap discs, and they seem fine. I’m not sure why the stove won’t light or why the thermocouple keeps failing. Any advice?

Apparently the thermocouples made in the last bunch of years are lower quality than in the past. More new failed out of box and shorter life spans have increased. At least that's the word here. It's happened to me with furnace and water heater ones.

Not sure if that's your issue but i always get 2 thermocouples if i need to replace 1 these days.

Thank you for the replies. The thermocouple is now working but the fire in fire pot burns out quickly and the convection blower does not start. If I jump snap disc 1 the convection blower blows and the fire burns longer but I still don't get any heat and the fire eventually dies out. Any ideas what this could be?

Many Thanks

Is the thermocouple touching the cover and is it over the burn pot 3/4-1 inch. Its acting like its not getting hot enough to go into run mode. Run mode is when the convection blower turns on
