Heat and Glo fireplace constantly shutting off

Hello, looking for help with our heat and glo cosmo 42 linear—
When we flip the switch and it starts up, it will stop (flames go out with a beep noise) every 10 seconds or so then restart. It just does it non stop so it’s not really useable. We did take the glass off and turned it on and didn’t have the same issues (just remained on). Can anyone provide any expertise?

If it runs with the glass off, it is probably an issue with the venting.
