Hearthstone Phoenix 8611/8612 Baffle Support ?

Hello. A while back, I made the stupid mistake of disassembling my Phoenix 8611/8612 without taking pictures. I would appreciate it if anyone can tell me how the “23 Baffle Support” part is supposed to be aligned in correlation to the “36 Secondary Air Manifold." Any help would be truly appreciated.

Yeah I have the parts diagram, but I can’t make out exactly how the baffle support bar is suppose to be positioned.

You are not the first to have this dilemma. It's going to take some digging, but this came up for a different Hearthstone in the past. I don't know if they will help with the Phoenix but perhaps they will have a helpful clue.

I can't get my baffle support to sit upright, as the parts dialogue displays. As my photos 1-3 show, it flops down flat, essentially enveloping my front secondary tube. I've sat it in an 'upside down T' shape on top of the front baffle, but it still falls down. As photos 4 & 5 show, i moved it forward a little, which allows secondary burn on the front baffle, but rests at a 45 degree angle on the baffle board. Is it too far forward? Is it supposed to support itself, or it supposed to sit like this, essentially supported by the very baffle the its supposed to be supporting? My other...

Hello, I've been lurking for a while but missed any topics posted on this issue, so please excuse me if this has been discussed before. While cleaning the stove I found the baffle on my Heritage has a piece from between the tubes busted out and resting on top of the baffle. I don't know how long it has been like this, but I just did a big cleaning on it and noticed it. I don't know how long it has been like this, but I have not noticed any degradation to the burn.
