We are installing a Hearthstone Bari stove this month. I am looking for recommendations from Bari owners on ideal log lengths. I know that the specs say up to 17" and I have been told that it is much easier with smaller lengths. I'm starting to process some wood for next winter and need to figure out what length to buck things to, before I have actual experience with the stove. Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Try for no longer than 16". The occaisional split that is 18" will need to go in vertically at an angle.
