Any information would be appreciated! The plate on the back says it was made in Taiwan for Scandia Catalytic Corp. and tested in March, 1981, but as far as the internet is concerned, it seems like this stove doesn't exist. I did find the Scandia instruction manual on this site; it skips from model 150 to 180.
I've had it inspected and had the chimney cleaned. The technicians said it appears to be in good condition and should be safe to use. Since the photos were taken, I have removed the rust and paint spatters, put a little bit of liquid stove polish on it in hopes of preventing more rust, and cleaned the glass disc at the bottom of that little cylinder in the top. I'm a little worried about trying to use it because of the comments about Scandia stoves here, but the people who lived here before used it frequently. All thoughts and opinions are welcome!
