bangor maine
Im about to give up on my Mt Vernon showing up anytime in this century so im starting to look into maybe buying something different.Of course no dealers have anything in stock in Bangor so im leaning towards buying online, maybe ebay.Does anyone have any recomendations on where to buy online or of any stove dealers in the maine ,newhampshire area with something in stock

Got one online through Zoobler. Arrived in 6 days, cheaper than dealer even with shipping.
You do have to go through them for warrenty work which consists of emailing them the problem and they contact the manufacturer and send the parts or tell you of a technician in your area. They were quite responsive with a small problem we had and it was cleared up.

Have you tried looking at Craig's list online in your area?

O'Hara Ice has had stoves in stock, and in southern Maine there are plenty of places. Giles Farm Store in Alfred has them, Ray's Vacuum Center in Sanford has them as well as other places in Southern Maine. If interested, and need phone numbers etc, let me know and I will get them for you. I have bought two pellet stoves online. One from Zoobler, and one from Nevel Stoves. Both very good transactions.

I bought my breckwell online at ruralking.com and had a really good experience.

Do you know what models Ohara Or the other stores have in stock.Ive been looking at the websites suggested.I guess i just have to decide which manufacturer to go with,Drolet Breckwell or Napoleon. I really liked Zooblers video on the Naploleon.I really appreciate the suggestions.I do know one thing for sure im going to find something to burn the pellets stacked in the basement Thanks

Homeclick.com also says they have stoves in stock with free shipping.

Don't go by the listing on the website.....I ordered a stove from a big stove supplier online during June, and then found out a month later that they never had any stoves to begin with. Call them on the phone and ask them if they actually have them in stock.

I bought my stove here:

http://www.chimneysweeponline.com/

The owner, Tom Oyen, is a member here.

I tried to buy locally, but stove dealers were very few and far between and prices were extremely high. Even with shipping added on, I couldn't find a better price locally. I had no problems and was satisfied with the customer service.

Just today i saw a sign at North Winds stove shop in Ellsworth that said that they had a limited ammount of napolian stoves left. I bought my stove US stove 6039 from Hearthside Distributers online back in May for $999, i see that they are a lot more now.

I saw at least 8 englander stoves in the Biddeford Lowes today 9/96/08. Must have just got a shipment. Give 'em a call. GOOD LUCK!

I bought my breckwell p23, pipe, and acc. on dynamitebuys.com. They offered free liftgate shipping and were cheaper than everyone else I could find online. Eric from Kingsman stove is here on this site and was very helpful to me with some concerns I had on my stove without me even buying from him. This shows me what type of dealer he is. Very honest and a nice helpful guy. Keep in mind that you do save money and save on tax and not to mention they actually have stoves in stock but it is a bit more of a hassel if anything goes wrong with the stove.

Yes I have from a guy who has some on eBay now, Not sure if this is allowed but here is his ID "amfm7203"
I have to say it was a great experience, I happen to live close to the englander factory so I picked mine up and saved some dollars. Here is a link to one auction on eBay right now.

there are others also.

I was blown away when I saw Northern Tool's prices on pellet stoves.
http://www.northerntool.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/category_6970_762991+122+483802

I assume these are no-frills stoves, but the reviews seem pretty decent.

Tractor Supply Co has the US Stove multi fuel model 6039 in stock here at $1300. It shows top reviews.
I too would add my vote for the usstove 6039 I have also read quite a bit about it. It was going to be my back up if I didn't get my Quad. It seems to get great reviews. You can burn lots of different fuels with it as well. Just my 2 cents!

I bought a US Stove 6039 insert from Smiths Farm Store in Indiana online. Great experience. Helpful, truthful, pleasant. I originally ordered the stove from Northern Tool in the first week of Aug. with a backorder of 14 to 28 days. I was fine with that but after giving my credit card number was told to expect delivery in November. I don't think so skippy !! Looking around about a week later found Smiths. One call and Stove and pipes were at my door 1 week later. Even had a lift gate truck. I would absolutly do it again.

Hey folks, I recently picked up a Magnum Furnace from American Energy Systems online store. It was a painless process. Their people were wonderfull to deal with and the furnace is awsome. It burns corn ,pellets, bio fuels and some other misc things like cherry pits ect. (doent quite know where to get them but hey, ill find a seller eventually lol) Picked up a ton of pellets and just watin for the corn to get to this end of the world (mid oct i was told by my dealer)
If any one was looking to buy a stove online i would suggest takin a look at these people. The stove is quite well made, 480 lbs worth. Sorry i purchased the 7500 series,
almost forgot to write that.

I got mine (Lennox Profile 30 Insert) from Southern Hearth and Patio in Tennessee. They're on the web. The stove & shipping was more than 40% cheaper than I was looking to pay here in CT (with sales tax). Check their website and call Jonathan to order if you have any questions.

Due to Hearth & Home Technologies strict internet guidelines, we can only sell this item in our immediate service area. .What a bunch of BS. What differnce does it make where you buy their product.I mean usually the only service you would need is a warranty issue and if these guys pay a dealer for a warranty claim what difference does it make.

Dont forget the Craigslist route as well. I got my Harman P38+ (2 years old) for 1400. You just have to keep your eye out and be vigilant. The deals are out there (and I dont mean from the guy in Lowell selling the P68 for 4600 dollars)
