How do you clean the XXV's combustion chamber with the top vent option installed?

Do you brush up from the combustion blower or do you brush down from the roof.

If you work down from the roof, how to you get the brush to follow the bends in the top vent exhaust path.?

Finally, does anyone have documentation on the top vent option?
 
Hopefully someone will chime in with some suggestions... good luck!
