Hey guys, me again.

so the furnace is running great. I have a new method of loading my pellets into my hopper in the basement and have been happy as a clam.... but....

I’m averaging around 3.25 bags per day, or around 5.41lb per hour. My house is ancient (think like George Washington era) and it has been cold, but this fuel consumption seems really high to me.

to those that have a similar setup in their house, what’s your daily burn rate? I am trying to figure out if this is just the way it is or if my house is the culprit. (I have checked insulation in walls and everything seems “ok” )

My usage is about 1/2 bag/day but probably not comparable since it's been remarkably mild here in the PNW. If we get a really cold stretch I'll burn 2 bags/day.
