Good Day Everyone - I am new to this forum and am reaching out to readers for assistance with my Harman P68. I've had this stove for 16 years and it has been an amazing stove. Last week it ran out of pellets while we were out. We decided to give it a through cleaning before we re-ignited it. After the cleaning, it will not fire back up. I've tested the vacuum pressure switch, the ESP and all three motors and they are all fine. I decided to replace the circuit board as the knobs were not working properly on the old board for the temp and Off one. The dip switches are in the same position on the new board as they were on the old one. When I turn the OFF knob to "Stove Temp" the combustion blower comes on and that is it. If I turn to test mode, all three motors operate. I have the stove in manual mode as the igniter is faulty and am waiting for a new one to arrive. After lighting it, the flame is very lazy and will eventually burn out. At a loss here and looking for assistance. There are no dealers in my area so getting a technician out here is not an option. Thank you.

You need to set your dip switches using the setting sheet that came with the board. I can’t remember without going out to the truck, but you would have the 4 rpm auger motor not the 6 rpm. Then be sure you have #5 set to the color of esp probe that you have. There was a revision in circuit boards, I cant remember when but use the sheet

I may have mis spoke. The UL feeder came out around then. You may have a 6 rpm auger motor. Here is both dip switch settings. Just need to set #5 to on for red esp or off for black wire esp.

Thank you for the response. I will look at the switch settings here shortly.

Hello rickwai - I got the paper for the circuit board and have the following settings on the DIP switches and no change in stove behaviour. I'll try the 6RPM setting next. Fingers crossed :)

Just tried the 6 RMP DIP switch settings too and again no change. All motors briefly start up when I plug the stove in. I then turn the knob from off to STOVE TEMP and the Combustion motor is the only motor that comes on. No flashing status light either :(

I did clean it very good. I took all the back panels off, blew everything out. Emptied the hopper and cleaned out the fines box. Also cleaned the ESP and stove pipes. Cleaned out igniter area too. I should also add that I tried the dollar bill tests on all the doors and hopper lid and no issue there.

Double check that the fines box cover is on correctly, that’s known to cause problems. What does it do in test mode?

it is normal that only the combustion engine works you have to put pellets in the combustion pot and light them and when the stove is hot enough the auger will work and the ambient air engine will start

If you are in manual mode the combustion motor is the only one that will start. I would suggest getting a new OEM Harman igniter and use auto mode. The OEM igniters are a bit expensive but last many , many years. If you switch to auto does your fuse blow or does the igniter just not work? If fuse is not blowing, switch to auto and turn to stove temp and see if auger and comb. blower start. Also verify which auger motor you have and a black wire esp. That is how you have #5 dip switch set. If you dont want to pull the back off to check auger motor just time it by watching from the front. A 4 rpm will take 15 seconds to make 1 revolution and a 6 rpm will take 10 seconds to make 1 revolution. And set dip switches accordingly

Good morning Rickwai - THANK YOU :) I do have the OEM igniter coming. Hasnt arrived yet. I switched the black wire ESP out this AM for a red wire one and changed the DIP switch setting, no change. I then tried flipping the switch to AUTO and the stove is working like it should be. At least I hope so - just fired up and everything looks good so far. Happy New year to you all and thanks for the suggestions.
