I have a new Harman P61 and I am wondering if when in room temp mode and running can I switch to stove temp mode? Or do I need to shut it down first?
thank you
Bob

You can switch it while it is running. When I do that, I stop for a second in the off position, then turn it the rest of the way just to make sure it doesn't get confused. Not sure if it is necessary, but it certainly doesn't hurt.

If you flip it make sure it's in manual 1st. That way the Igniter won't run. I don't know if it will not run because it's hot enough. I doubt it has that capability. I just leave mine in one mode and switch to manual. It's always in Room Temp Mode. 75f in the house this am. Too Warm so I just dial it down a little.

I’ll also run mine up in stove temp mode a couple times a week to burn out anything leftover from running it a bit low during warmer outside temperature days
