Hello everyone,
New member here, but I've been poking around for awhile. I see that a number of you have upgraded your P38 to a P43 auto light circuit board.(control board?) I believe some have done this with a P61. I'd like to know if you're still using it; was it worth it to you; and also, what (if anything) you would do differently. I have just picked up a 1997 PP38+ in very good condition that the previous owner says could use a new circuit board. It works, but there's a dead spot on the feed rate dial. Circuit boards, control boards, potentiometers, etc are not in my wheelhouse. Sadly, I never learned these things. (Hence, the moniker) BUT, I plan to forge ahead. From what I can gather, the change has been positive. I thought an update from the upgraders would be useful.

Thank you
