Hey guys thanks for a great forum you have here it has helped me out more then once . I have a few questions that I am hoping one of you guys can help me with. I am not getting the heat out of my stove that I should be getting and I am not sure why. Sometimes I get so much heat that I can't even stand in front of the stove or I will get burned and then over times it is barely warm. I am burning hamer hot ones so I know it isn't the pellets. I recently purchased a new room sensor and have not had much luck with it . It seems like it just doesn't put out the same heat as when it is in stove temp. One thing I have noticed is that my distribution fan doesn't get any louder once it hits about 40% of the way up. Once it hits high from half way to high it doesn't do anything else at all is this normal? could I have a bad gasket somewhere? I know that it is clean as I just recently removed all of the front parts(burn pot, guide, heat exchangers,ect.... ) and cleaned them thoroughly and also scrubbed the exhaust ports behind the heat exchangers. The left exhaust port was plugged solid from the guy who owned the stove before me so I cleaned everything and what a difference that made. So I continued learning about the stove and learned that the distribution fan was very important to clean also so I decided to take a look and holy COW it was plugged up with what looked like a small poodle so i removed both fans and cleaned them thoroughly with a vacuum and compressed air. I cleaned out the fines from the box next to the main exhaust and also the esp box which was full of about 8 inches of thick ash. One thing I noticed is that my esp is bent downward would this cause any problems? I heard from a installer that it either works or it doesn't and as long as it works it doesn't matter if it is bent is this true? Could I have a bad gasket? I checked the front gasket and it seems to be fine, it looks good and makes a solid connection when shut. What about the distribution blower gasket? is there a gasket on the combustion blower? I just learned that the holes in the burn pot where the flame guide lines up are for air inlets? what if they are clogged would that cause a problem? can a blower start to go bad and just not work as well as it should or is that like the esp because the same installer told me that it also either works or it doesn't. Is there any switch or pentameter that could be bad on the fan adjuster that won't let it go into high ? I also noticed that the air is hottest from the center of the stove to the right of the stove(looking at it) and the left air blowing out is not as hot what could cause this? I am sorry for a million questions here but I am just trying to give you the full details so you can get the best idea of what I am dealing with.
thanks for all your help guys I really appreciate it.
