My friend has a Hardy wood furnace that is overflowing. I got him to ensure that the fill vale and fill selinoid are not leaking thru which they are not. The only thing it can be is a leak in the domestic water coil inside the water vat has a hole in it. Has anyone ever replaced the domestic coil? Is it a difficult Job? Thank You

It’s pretty straight forward, pull the shell and top off the heater. The coil is pretty much just laying in the top off the water jacket. Replace and reverse.
