Hello and thanks in advance for your help.

I am looking to install a wood stove in my shop.

The shop is approximately 16 feet tall.

There is a loft I will need to go through that is approximately 7.5 feet off the ground.

I am looking to use a ceiling support box and I am not sure where to install it.

Do I install it closer to the roof of the shop (there is just open trusses) or do I install it through the floor of the loft?

Could I cut out a big enough(19 inch) hole in the loft floor and use double wall pipe until I get to my trusses then use the ceiling support box and run triple wall the rest of the way through the roof?

Code says the ceiling support box is to be installed at the first floor penetration, & Class A chimney is required from there to the cap.
