I can get these for 245 a ton. Is this a good price? I've never used them but I here they are a good pellet.

As far as price, I bought the last ton from the local TSC for $200 last Friday. They were asking just shy of $5 a bag. They were trying to make room for their spring stuff and I offered to take them all. You might try the same.

I wonder if you both being on the 'shore' where it is very humid is entering into the equation. Possible that moisture is breaking down the pellets? The bags are not sealed. They have tiny holes in them on purpose. Were they stored outside or in an area where they were subject to mist? Shooting in the dark here.
