Picked up a 1983 Grandpa Bear IV glass door model that I'm installing in a workshop. I hadn't even considered it being a problem but learning that insurance can be an issue.
I understood this was a UL listed model however the plate on the stove is Northwest Testing Laboratories with no UL mark. I also can't find a manual for any of the IV series (the III manual says the stoves are UL listed right in the manual, might be helpful for an inspector). I'm curious if anyone has the manual or any information on if the NTL certification/nameplate is acceptable regarding being UL listed. Thanks for any help.
