The ad said free fire wood help yourself and gave an address. I got all of this plus a pickup load and there is probably still 8-10 cords left. While we were there people were constantly stopping to fill pickups and station wagons. It was pretty funny. I should have taken some pics of the site. The guy had 30 days to get the trees out before the township would fine him. He had 15 trees dropped and they were just laying there. After I loaded the trailer I just bucked wood for him for a while. Took all of the Ash and Oak I could get out. It was a mess back there.

GREAT (!) score!

May I ask: What is the size / load capacity of your trailer? What is your hitch arrangement? What size truck are you using?

Reason I ask is we just missed a great score of hickory due trailering problems.

Shari

The truck is a Dodge Ram 3500 dually with a cummins diesel. It's a regular ball hitch, and I think its good for about 10,000 lb. I think we had the trailer a bit overloaded but the truck could pull 4-5 times that. I am lucky enough to be able to borrow that setup.

Nice truck and trailer, I miss my old diesel. You better hurry up and get some more!

Great find!

Awesome score! Can't beat that type of find!
