I can't find my owners manual and a google search isn't providing me my answer. I'm looking to sell my old century stove but can't find what square footage the fw24007 from 2008'ish is rated for. 1500? 1800?Anyone know?

Thanks!

It's rated at 10-24,000btus and about a 1.4 cu ft stove. Sq ftg heated is a marketing term. It is dependent on many factors that vary from house to house. I wouldn't put this in an ad for the stove.

I don't doubt you're right. The issue is that the 4 calls I've had about the stove have all asked me that question.

How can you predict how well insulated the house is, how many windows, how well sealed, how many stories, stove location, etc.?
It will heat approximately an 800-1500 sq ft house depending on these conditions.

I agree that there are too many variables but some people need a number. Thanks for the help.

I was able to heat a 1500sq ft house with it. But it met its match trying to heat a 12x16' room when it was 20+ below. Its a good stove.
