Go for the highest octane available from the pumps. I noticed a little more grunt. I also throw a bit of stabil in my mix sometimes is sits a bit, ( I try not for that to happen).
I use the highest grade at the pump. I also only use husky oil with the fuel stabilizer already in it, and I add some Mix-I-Go to it as well (broken link removed to http://www.bellperformance.net/page/100/PROD/MIX-I-GO) (I use it in everything).
Dolmar, Pull-on saws and Echo trimmers all get the same mix - 93 (or highest available) from a "big name" station mixed 50-1 w/ a good quality chainsaw oil, lately I've been using the Echo synthetic mix. I only buy oils with the stabilizer mixed in with it, if I couldn't get those, I'd run a bit of Sta-Bil as well...
