Hi. We have one! We love it. We bought it for $275 used off Craigslist. Then a little elbow grease to remove rust and a new coat of stove paint it turned into something really pretty. We did our own install with a chimney liner and bought a boot attachment to hook it in ourselves. Our house is a 2400 sq' ranch style with an open floor plan and central chimney in which the stove is located. It does not heat the entire house 100% of the time, but it knocks $100+ off our electric bill each month, Oct-March. We have a small shop fan that blows cool air towards it from the hallway the bedrooms are on. In order to get more out of it, we would probably have to get new insulated windows, as our home is very draft with big picture windows everywhere that are single pane. It does eat wood at a pretty fast rate. One wheelbarrow of wood lasts 12 hours if we are burning all day/night during below freezing temps. We did try a homemade baffle a couple times, but they kept falling apart or warping. That did allow us to run the stove more efficiently so we might try it again.

Use 5/16 thick steel plate.
