Fire! Heat! Gooooooodddd!!!!

Here it is - the story board.

Cutting through stucco on the exterior of our detached garage.
All in all, it went extremely well. Especially, after many days of planning etc.

First burn lasted, at least, an hour. Temp in the garage went up about 6-7 degrees. That's a good thing on a Canadian Fall evening!

Took note of the soot on the sides of the burn area.

Thanks so much for all the help from the group. Forums, collectives...they're incredibly useful and entertaining. Cheers!

Filled the hopper last night. This morning, went onto the app, read the ambient temp. (8 deg C) and started the stove remotely. In less than two hours, temp was up to 17 deg C and I headed in there to start making sense of the mess that's my garage/shop. Stove kept it at a comfy 19-20 degrees Celsius for the next 4-5 hours. What a game changer.
Hopefully, this means the months of Winter will be put to good use in the shop instead of waiting (or freezing) and using up precious Spring/Summer hours!
