fan speed

I have a Quadra-Fire Voyager Grand. The fan control does not seem to change the speed of the fan. If I turn it off, the fan goes off, but the fan is always on low. I flip the switch from auto to manual without change. Could it be a loose wire or will I need to replace the control.

It has never worked properly.

I think your rheostat is bad.

Where would I get a part number for that so I can replace? Is it possible it’s wired backward or then would the on/off not work?

Check you owner' manual. If there's no part number there, call your hearth shop.
